Sikhya-O-Sikhjya sanctioned with the recurring project 'Jan Shikshan Sansthan' in the year 2000. It is a prestigious project of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. The project is conceived as an autonomous training institute for converting skill development and up-gradation training programmes in the areas of non-formal, adult and continuing education.
Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Bhubaneswar is operating in Khurda District of Odisha. Vocational Courses	:	Programmes involving skills/practical applications leading to income generation one to five day's vocational courses should be limited to 25% of the total number of vocational courses organized in a particular reporting year.
